TDLR Architectural Barriers - Plan Review Services

Buildings subject to compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards and with a construction cost in excess of $50,000 must be registered with Architectural Barriers for review. Documents must be submitted for review to ACI within 20 days after the design professional issues the construction documents (AB Rule 68.50). Please note the definition of "issue".

Issue: To mail, deliver, transmit, or otherwise release plans or specifications to an owner, lessee, contractor, subcontractor, or any other person acting for an owner or lessee for the purpose of construction, applying for a building permit, or obtaining regulator y approval after such plans have been sealed by an architect, interior designer, landscape architect, or engineer. In the case of a state-funded or other public works project, it is the time at which plans or specifications are publicly posted for bids, after such plans or specifications have been sealed by an architect, interior designer, landscape architect, or engineer.

	Completed TDLR Architectural Barriers Project Registration Form [ ONLINE REGISTRATION ]* or[ Fill-Out and Print ]. *TDLR now requires the State filing fee to be paid at the time of project registration. Online registration requires a credit card payment. ACI will not register projects for clients without payment.

	One complete set of construction documents for all disciplines. Going Green? We will accept 1/2 size sets; or you may submit a CD with a complete set of documents in PDF format along with a hardcopy of the grading, demo and floor plans (if applicable).

Pick-ups requested after 1:00 PM CST, will be scheduled for the next business day, but the porject will be logged in the day of the request.
