TDLR Architectural Barriers - Inspection Services

A building or facility owner shall request an inspection from TDLR or a registered accessibility specialist no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the completion of construction, renovation, modification, or alteration of the subject building or facility. All projects that have been registered with TDLR Architectural Barriers must be inspected.

If you have received an Inspection Request or Final Notice of Inspection Due from ACI, please complete the attached forms to Victoria Popoca by email, fax (713-864-8495), or mail.

Inspection Forms

  • ACI Application* (includes Fee Schedule)

  • Request for Inspection* to be signed by project Owner (title holder) or properly designated (via Owner Agent Designation Form) Owner's Agent

  • Owner Agent Designation form - Only the owner (title holder) may designate an agent

  • Payment*

    • Check or Money Order payable to American Construction Investigations, LTD (ACI, Ltd.)

    • Credit Cards accepted. Please contact Victoria Popoca by email or call 713-864-8494 to pay by card.

    • Mileage Fee applicable to project located outside Houston - see Mileage Chart

  • Inspection Response Form to notify ACI of post-inspection corrections or to request an extension
