Building Code Consulting

ACI’s International Code Council certified personnel provide third-party plan review and site inspection services that comply with Texas Education Agency requirements. We generate and provide Alternate Methods Requests to authorities having jurisdiction. We work with architects and designers to provide preliminary code review during the design process. Our ICC certified personnel also provide third-party International Energy Conservation Code inspections.

Texas Education Agency - Chapter 61: Third-party building code plan reviews and inspections for new construction and major renovation projects for school district facilities outside of a municipality.

Life Safety Code Reviews: Architectural sections of the Code such as building classifications, occupancy, construction types, fire rated construction, fire protection and means of egress. 

Fair Housing Act Design Requirements: Plan review and inspection services for new multi-family housing subject to the Design Requirements of the Fair Housing Act.

Architectural Barriers Assessments: Due-diligence and barrier-removal plans for Public Accommodations subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
