TAS Plan Review & Inspection
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Architectural Barriers requires that for projects with costs of $50,000 or more, a full set of construction documents must be submitted for review and inspection in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 469. For determinations on whether a facility is subject to the Architectural Barriers Act, reference Administrative Rule 68.20.
ACI’s Registered Accessibility Specialists perform TAS plan reviews across Texas. Design professionals and owners are required to submit construction documents for review within 20 days of project release. Our reviews identify accessibility issues early and ensure compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards before construction begins. Contact us for information regarding scheduling and fees.
